📌 Research & Deep Dives: Exploring Culinary Heritage

About Me...

Ciao! I’m Sofia, a high school student passionate about good food, different cultures, and travel. Born in Italy and raised in California since I was seven, I’ve always felt like I had a foot in two worlds—one shaped by my Italian heritage, the other by the diverse flavors of my travels and friendships. Over the years and my adventures, I learned that food is a way to stay connected, share experiences, and understand traditions.

A little about me:

📌 Food lover & recipe collector – from family traditions to travel finds

📌 Passionate about cultural heritage & storytelling through food

My Favorite Foods & Travel Moments:

🥑 Discovering avocado toast in California

🍣 Eating sushi in a hidden Tokyo alley or a delicious ceviche in Lima

🍕 Finding the best pizza in Naples

Culinary Postcards

Each recipe is more than just a list of ingredients - it’s a piece of someone’s history, shared by friends met during summer vacations, local families, and communities around the world.

A captivating culinary scene featuring a vibrant setup on a light blue surface. At the center, a white plate holds a glossy brown sauce with a spoon resting on it. Nearby, a large red chili pepper and several smaller peppers are scattered, adding a touch of brightness. A glass jar filled with more of the brown sauce sits to one side, while an empty glass and a cleaver with a wooden handle lie nearby. A crystal glass contains more peppers, creating dynamic shadows across the surface.
